Brief Production Note and Director's Statement

It started as a short summer film project with his twin brother Basil, grew into a senior project, and then continued afterwards to become what is now a 90-minute feature.   Making a film this long tested his skills, fortitude, and passion for filmmaking.

This film was made for around $400.  Writes Alex:  "We could come in on budget, thanks to school, friends, family, community and the 'kindness of strangers'.    No one was a stranger after this, and we hope they will be proud to have helped us out.”

“Another reason we met our budget restraints, was that we relied on our own independent skills in writing, directing, music, sound, cinematography, and time-consuming, otherwise expensive post-production work, including editing, visual effects, ADR, etc. which my brother and I did free of charge with every free moment we had.”
